Friends of Bill Evans owes $1,700 in fines

The campaign committee Friends of Bill Evans owes a $25 fine imposed on Nov. 14, 2014, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $1,675 with William H. Evans listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 143 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $863,080 in pending fines.
