Northwest Republican Women owes $5,450 in fines

The campaign committee Northwest Republican Women owes a $525 fine imposed on Sept. 4, 2012, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $4,925.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 143 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $863,080 in pending fines.
