Rey Colon 35th Ward Committeeman owes $27,500 in fines

The campaign committee Rey Colon 35th Ward Committeeman owes a $5,000 fine imposed on Sept. 29, 2017, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $22,500 with Rey Colon listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
