About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 017th district of recent Commercial Burglaries. In these incidents the unknown offenders made entry into the business through the rear door. After making entry the unknown offenders targeted the cash in the cash register for theft. After taking said cash the offenders fled the scene.
Incident times and locations:
- 4600 block of North Kedzie Ave. between March 12th at 11pm and March 13th at 9:30am.
- 6200 block of North McCormick Rd. on March 13th at 2am.
- 3400 block of West Peterson Ave. on March 13th at 3:53am
- 3200 block of West Lawrence Ave. on March 13th at 4:44am.
- 4600 block of North Kedzie Ave. on March 13th at 5:50am.
Unknown offenders.
What you can do:
- Be aware of this crime and alert your neighbors.
- Pay special attention to any suspicious subjects loitering in the area.
- Ensure that existing surveillance cameras are functional.
- Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s)
