Cook County Board of Commissioners Health & Hospitals Committee met Feb. 27.

ATTENDANCE 

Present: Anaya, Aguilar, Britton, Degnen, Gainer, Gordon, Lowry, Miller, Moore, Morita, K. Morrison, S. Morrison, Quezada, Stamps and Trevor (15) 

Absent: Deer and Daley (2) excused 

A motion was made by Commissioner Miller, seconded by Commissioner S. Morrison, to allow for remote participation in the meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: 

Ayes: Anaya, Aguilar, Britton, Degnen, Gainer, Gordon, Lowry, Miller, Moore, Morita, K. Morrison, S. Morrison, Quezada, Stamps and Trevor (15) 

Absent: Deer and Daley (2) excused 

PUBLIC TESTIMONY 

Vice Chairwoman Anaya asked the Secretary to the Board to call upon the registered public speakers, in accordance with Cook County Code. 

1. Susan Avila - 7th District Health Task Force 

2. Dian Palmer - SEIU Local 73 

3. Christina Terrell - SEIU Local 73 

4. Julia Jacobs -Dr.Cloud & HR

The Cook County Health and Hospitals Committee will hold a public hearing regarding the selection of a new CEO for the Cook County Health and Hospitals System pursuant to Resolution 24-1192 which was approved at the January 25, 2024, meeting of the Cook County Board of Commissioners. No Action is Required. 

No Action taken.

A motion was made by Commissioner S. Morrison, seconded by Commissioner Degnen, to adjourn  the meeting. The motion carried by the following vote:
