In total, there have been 4,175 positive cases reported in Chicago among residents in their seventies, accounting for 5.7 percent of all cases in the county. Through September 4, Chicago has reported a total of 72,613 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 2,890 of which have ended with the victim’s death.
