Chicago Fire FC has announced its schedule of theme nights and matchday giveaways for the 2026 Major League Soccer season. The club, which plays its home games at Soldier Field, will offer a series of themed events and exclusive merchandise to fans attending select matches.

According to Joey Colby-Begovich, Vice President of Matchday Operations and Guest Experience for Chicago Fire FC, “Theme nights are one of our favorite ways to bring families, friends and fans together to celebrate the Club during our electric home matches. Our goal with this year’s calendar is to help fans create memories around a range of cultural moments, city pride and fandom – making every match feel special as soon as fans walk through the gates.”

The 2026 season opens on February 28 with a home game against CF Montréal. Fans in attendance will receive red flags featuring the team’s iconic color. Other scheduled theme nights include Military and Veterans Appreciation (Camo Military Cap giveaway), Marvel Day (custom comic book), Homecoming Red Out (foam finger), Chicago Sports Night (banner pennant), CFFC Soccer Celebration (large flag), Oktoberfest (beer stein), Hispanic Heritage Night (accordion fan), an anime-themed event with Naruto merchandise, and Fan Appreciation night with a Fire Fan Chain giveaway. Some details about these events will be announced closer to their respective dates.

Each theme night features giveaways distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at stadium gates.

Chicago Fire FC competes in Major League Soccer conferences with a professional roster and has achieved victories in both the MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cups over its history. The club began play as an expansion team in 1998 and incorporates symbols inspired by the Great Chicago Fire in its crest and colors. In addition to competing at a high level, the organization fosters soccer growth throughout the Midwest region by supporting youth development programs and engaging in community initiatives such as those led by the Chicago Fire Foundation (official website).
