Chicago Fire FC II will play its second match of the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season against Orlando City B on Sunday, March 8, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida. The match is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. CT and can be watched on OneFootball or MLSNEXTPro.com with Jack Edwards providing play-by-play commentary.
In their season opener on February 27, Chicago Fire FC II played Inter Miami CF II to a 1-1 draw before winning in a shootout. Miami scored first, but Chicago equalized four minutes later when Dylan Borso advanced up the left side and set up Damyan Villanueva, who assisted Trip Fleming for his first goal of the season. Goalkeeper Owen Pratt made a decisive save in the shootout to secure two points for Chicago.
Orlando City B began its campaign with a home game against Huntsville City FC on March 2. Former Orlando player Shak Mohammed scored twice for Huntsville, helping his new team achieve a 3-1 victory over Orlando. Harvey Sarajian scored for Orlando just before halftime.
Sunday’s contest marks the eighth meeting between Chicago and Orlando at this level and is the first encounter in Kissimmee since 2024. Historically, Orlando leads the series with four wins to Chicago’s two; however, Chicago won their last meeting by a score of 5-1 at UIC Flames Field.
