Illinois SB1595 passed the state House on May 27.

The bill, as it was introduced in the Senate by Sen. Elgie R. Sims, Jr. (D-17) on Feb. 15, will amend the Film Production Services Tax Credit Act of 2008, according to the General Assembly website.

The measure passed the Senate on April 12. Assuming the Senate concurs with the House, the measure will be sent to the governor to decide if it should be signed into law.
