Chicago Permit Review Committee considers renovation requests
The city of Chicago Permit Review Committee will meet at 1:15 p.m. Thursday to consider the approval for renovations at 2128 N. Halsted in the 43rd Ward.

Proposed renewal of a previous conditional approval for removal of a non-historic staircase,
masonry wall, and front entry and replacement with a new masonry and limestone straightrun
stair and new recessed entry with double doors and a transom window
2. 4520 N. Broadway 46th Ward
Proposed Uptown Square District
Proposed replacement of deteriorated terra cotta masonry units with painted limestone on a
corner 3-story mixed-use building.
3. 3406 S. Calumet 4th Ward
Proposed new, two-story, masonry, single-family residence and detached, one-story, rear
4. 2229 S. Michigan 3rd Ward
Motor Row District
Proposed exterior alterations including new storefronts, new windows, a new canopy, and a
projecting blade sign for an existing 3-story masonry building
5. 939 W. Fulton Market 27th Ward
Fulton-Randolph Market District
Proposed restoration and rehabilitation of 2-story timber-framed masonry building, including
new windows and storefronts and reconstruction of a third floor with a new mechanical
penthouse and rooftop deck.
