Illinois students paid $43,078 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,046 more than the $42,032 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 96 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 2,078 students received grants or scholarships totaling $40.88 million and 1,346 students took out student loans totaling more than $11.6 million.
Including all undergraduates, 8,940 students used grants or scholarships totaling $158.22 million. Another 6,068 took out $44.44 million in federal student loans.
