Report: Rosemont spent $20,523 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Rosemont Elementary School District 78 is up 45.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Chicago City Wire analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $14,127 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $20,523 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 286 to 219.

Rosemont's spending in 2017-18 was 53.9 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
