Peter Pope donated $2,500 to Democrat Michael Negron's election campaign committee, Friends of Michael Negron, on March 13, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Records indicate that this contribution of $2,500 to Michael Negron is the only candidate contribution of $1,000 or more that Pope has made in the past five years.
