The following action was taken on Feb. 5 in the House on House bill HB17 ("$isbe-transportation"): "To Special Issues Subcommittee (AES."

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Mary E. Flowers (D-31) on Nov. 30, 2018, "appropriates $15,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for transportation reimbursement to a parent or guardian of a qualifying pupil under the School Code" and "effective July 1, 2019," according to the General Assembly website.
