Illinois State House District 78 issued the following announcement on July 17
I fought for legislation protecting individuals with pre-existing conditions, passed measures capping skyrocketing health insurance premiums and reining in out-of-control prescription drug costs. I passed a bipartisan and balanced budget that provides critical funding for women’s health services like lifesaving breast cancer screenings. While other states seek to curtail women’s rights, I worked to make women’s health a fundamental right.
