Narrative: The above offender was arrested on February 28, 2023, at approximately 2:13 a.m., in the 12900 block of S. Peoria St. He was identified as the offender who, just over an hour earlier, unlawfully entered a residence in the 12900 block of S. Peoria (5th District) and restrained a 44-year-old female and a 21-year-old male at gunpoint. The offender then opened fire in the direction of multiple responding officers . No one was struck by gunfire. The offender was subsequently placed into custody and charged accordingly.
