Call to Order - Roll Call
Regular Meeting of the Undergraduate Student Government called to order at 5:10 PM in SCE 605.
The following members were present:
Flordalia Rodriguez-García, David Lin, Samrudhi Vaghmare, Peter Varughese, Asha Binbek, Dennis Ho, Shifa Zhong, Nancy Camacho, Deepika Kommineni, Rowida Zatar and Marlena Szymczak.
The following members were absent:
Dean DuJuan Smith, Jauwan Hall, Kiana Narvaez, Pooja Baxi, Chris Anthony Ebisi, Christian Goddard, Pari Shah
Reading and Approval of the Minutes:
There was a motion to approve the meeting minutes. Meeting minutes were approved.

Motion to add guest speaker Susan Teggatz. Agenda approved as corrected.

Students and RAs were not working effectively in the outdated programming model, so a new programming model is in effect for the second year and improvements are seen.
HON 201 and Business class being taught in the residence halls.
MAP works survey in place, which helps with intervention. Program identifies who is at risks. Early intervention is the key to student success. Housing has partnered with study group for anatomy class “with the bones” so students can use the tools to study.
Improvements of residence hall plans being implemented. Campus Housing is critical for first year students. Campus housing offers support and resources. New programming model for RAs focuses on helping student have a sense of belonging.

Wrote 3 USG Staff resolutions—candidates elected upon approval of the assembly to be appointed
Catalyst retreat—thanks for coming Saturday! Want to make it mandatory next year that every assembly member attends this retreat. You can never have too much leadership experience.
