A motion was made by Vice Chair Deer, seconded by Commissioner Boykin, to approve 18-0183. The Finance Subcommittee on Workers’ Compensation met on the above listed date and recommends the following for approval:

Workers’ Compensation Claims approved Fiscal Year 2018 to present: $40,778.50 Workers’ Compensation Claims to Be Approved: $21,000.00

A motion was made by Commissioner Schneider, seconded by Commissioner Morrison, to recommend for approval 18-0186. PROPOSED BID RECOMMENDATION

Request: Authorization for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County to enter into a construction contract with Matthew Paving Inc. primary place of business Oak Lawn, Illinois for parking lot repairs at Saganashkee Slough Boat Launch in Willow Springs

Reason: The contract #74000002862 issues under specification #18-80-07 Saganashkee Slough Boat Launch Parking Lot Improvements. The work includes, but is not limited to, asphalt pavement removal and replacement, boat ramp repairs and other related work as specified in the plans & specifications. This popular location was recently approved for a new canoe & kayak rental concession.
