Graduates earn 20 degrees from Taylor Business Institute

About 45 percent of the 20 degrees and certificates handed out by the Taylor Business Institute in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 9 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician. Data shows the school gave out 9 associate's degrees in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician, followed by 6 associate's degrees in Corrections and Criminal Justice, Other and 3 associate's degrees in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.

The institute enrolled 318 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
