Graduates earn 835 degrees, certificates from Rush University

About 92.5 percent of the 835 degrees and certificates handed out by the Rush University in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 367 master's degrees and 323 doctor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in Nursing Practice. Data shows the school gave out 186 doctor's degrees in Nursing Practice, followed by 166 master's degrees in Nursing Science and 114 doctor's degrees in Medicine.

The university enrolled 2,503 students for 2016-17, including 122 in undergraduate programs and 2,381 in graduate programs.
