American Academy of Art enrolls 260 undergrads

At American Academy of Art, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 62 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 260 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 1.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

59 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 26 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (45 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (36 percent).
