47th Ward Political Fund owes $5,725 in fines

The campaign committee 47th Ward Political Fund owes a $5,000 fine imposed on May 25, 2012, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $725 with Edwin Burke listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
