Citizens for Esther Golar owes $5,860 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens for Esther Golar owes a $5,000 fine imposed on Dec. 22, 2017, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $860 with Esther Golar listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
