West Town home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in West Town, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $73,000 while total sales decreased by 2.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 95 homes sold, with a median sale price of $492,000 - a 17.4% increase over the $419,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 97 homes sold in West Town in the fourth quarter of 2016.
