River North home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in River North, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $50,500 while total sales increased by 6.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 93 homes sold, with a median sale price of $415,500 - a 13.8% increase over the $365,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 87 homes sold in River North in the fourth quarter of 2016.
