North Mayfair home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in North Mayfair, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $47,000 while total sales decreased by 28%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $284,500 - a 19.8% increase over the $237,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 25 homes sold in North Mayfair in the fourth quarter of 2016.
