Hyde Park home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Hyde Park, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $31,750 while total sales decreased by 6.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 158 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,750 - a 16.4% increase over the $194,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 169 homes sold in Hyde Park in the second half of 2016.
