Scottsdale home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Scottsdale, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $22,500 while total sales increased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 14.3% increase over the $157,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Scottsdale in January 2016.

The median sales tax in Scottsdale for 2017 was $2,595. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,547. This marks an increase of 1.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
