Back of the Yards home prices rise in January 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2017 in Back of the Yards, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $2,500 while total sales increased by 70%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2017, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $48,000 - a 5.5% increase over the $45,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in Back of the Yards in January 2016.
