Rosemont Elementary School District 78 Board met April 23.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Mr. Anderson began the meeting by stating that this is a new Board of Election for the Rosemont Elementary School Board. In order to proceed we have to elect a pro tem because the officers are not elected yet.
There was a motion made by Member Stephens, seconded by Member Anderson to appoint Grant Bailey as the President pro tem.
CALL TO ORDER
President pro tem Bailey called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Wilson, Anderson, Stephens, Houston, Muszynski, and President pro tem Bailey
OTHERS IN ATTENDANCE: Superintendent Anderson

Superintendent Anderson stated that the swearing in would follow the reading of the election results.
President pro tem Bailey reported the following election results:
Grant H. Bailey Leyden Township – 385 Votes
Maine Township – 124 Votes
Christopher R. Stephens Leyden Township – 400 Votes
Maine Township – 131 Votes
Edward A. Muszynski Leyden Township – 380 Votes
Maine Township – 120 Votes
Kristina R. Monaco Leyden Township – 362 Votes
Maine Township – 122 Votes
Mr. Anderson stated that the oath of office would be read at this time. The four elected officials read the Oath of Office simultaneously.
Newly elected School Board Member, Kristina Monaco, joined the other Board Members at this time.
President pro tem Bailey stated that he would like to open it up now to reorganize the School Board and elect a President, Vice President and Secretary. President pro tem Bailey stated that he would like to nominate Christopher Stephens as School Board President.
There was a motion made by Member Anderson, seconded by Member Wilson to appoint Christopher Stephens as School Board President.
There was a motion made by Member Wilson, seconded by Member Anderson for the Vice President to stay as Grant Bailey and the Secretary to stay as Dolores Wilson.
ADJOURNMENT
There was a motion made by Member Wilson, seconded by Member Anderson to adjourn this meeting at 5:06 p.m.
