Advocate Trinity Hospital issued the following announcement on May 15.
Thank you to Rachna Jain of Oakbrook, and Shashi Ohri of Burr Ridge! This duo generously collected a $7,500 donation of restaurant gift cards and 2,500 worth of Grubhub codes for delivery to frontline staff at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
“Thank you to our superheroes, the front line workers in the hospital, who are risking their own health to care for the most vulnerable among us," say Rachna and Shashi.
The pair also wanted to help the food industry, which is why they chose to donate restaurant gift cards.
“We're hoping this will help relieve some of the personal responsibilities of our frontline workers and to let them know the community is grateful and that we care for them.”
