Graduates earn 34 degrees, certificates from Chicago Theological Seminary

About 88.2 percent of the 34 degrees and certificates handed out by Chicago Theological Seminary in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 19 master's degrees and 10 doctor's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in divinity/ministry. Data shows the school gave out 14 master's degrees in divinity/ministry, followed by 10 doctor's degrees in pastoral studies/counseling and 4 master's degrees in theology/theological studies.

The seminary enrolled 231 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 231 programs.
