65 percent of applicants to Roosevelt University were admitted for fall 2018

At Roosevelt University, 74 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 66 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 4,329 students in fall 2018, including 2,513 in undergraduate and 1,816 in graduate programs, data shows. 16 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

63 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 34 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (42 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (24 percent).

The school admitted 65 percent of the 3,943 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 13 percent enrolled.
