Cost of college went up for all students at Illinois Media School-Chicago Campus

Tuition and fees rose 2.8 percent for 2018-19 at Illinois Media School-Chicago Campus, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $18,225 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $500 more than the $17,725 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 93 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 100 students received grants or scholarships totaling $437,310 and 100 students took out student loans totaling more than $623,239.

Including all undergraduates (126), 107 students used grants or scholarships totaling $437,310, and 100 students took out $623,239 in federal student loans.
