Cost of college went up for all students at Robert Morris University Illinois

Tuition and fees rose 5.1 percent for 2018-19 at Robert Morris University Illinois, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $28,050 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,350 more than the $26,700 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 405 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.1 million and 341 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.2 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,934), 1,872 students used grants or scholarships totaling $33.3 million, and 1,534 students took out $12.7 million in federal student loans.
