1. Motion that the Village Board approve a Special Event Permit Application for Kegel Harley-Davidson, 7125 Harrison Ave., Rockford Illinois for July 15, 2021 for a BIKE NIGHT for Fire & Iron -Station 53, and waive the fees for this non-profit event.

2. Motion that the Village Board approve a Special Event Permit Application for Kegel Harley-Davidson, 7125 Harrison Ave., Rockford Illinois for July 29, 2021 for a BIKE NIGHT for ABATE of IL – Kishwaukee Valley, Inc., and waive the fees for this non profit event.

3. Motion that the Village Board approve a Special Event Permit Application for Kegel Harley-Davidson, 7125 Harrison Ave., Rockford Illinois for July 31, 2021 for a Pig Roast for ADPA (American Parkinson Disease Association) and waive the fees for this non-profit event.

4. Motion that the Village Board approve the purchase of an update to the village’s Barracuda Software Protection Package from CDW Government, Chicago, Illinois at a cost of $4,361.76 from line item 5285 A.

ORDINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE NANCY BELT.

1. Motion that the Village Board consider this the second and final reading of “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 1, Section 1.8 of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois.”

2. Motion that the Village Board approve Ordinance 2021-17; “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 1, Section 1.8 of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois.”

3. Motion that the Village Board approve Supplement 18 (Nine Ordinances) to the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cherry Valley from Municode at a cost of $2,554.92 from line item 5165 A.

FINANCE REPORT BY TRUSTEE: BRANDI PEARSE.

PUBLIC SAFETY REPORT BY TRUSTEE: JEFF FUSTIN.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve the attendance of Patrol Officer Mike Rach at the Field Training Officer/Certification (Coaching Model) Training on July 19- July 23, 2021 at the City of Rockford Police Department at a cost of $450.00 from line item 5195 P.

2. Motion that the Village Board authorize the start of a background investigation on the top candidate from the village’s testing process held June 27-28, 2021.

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT BY TRUSTEE: MIKE NEVILLE.

1. Motion that the Village Board approve the additional cost related to the Village Hall/Police Department Parking Lots Project at a cost of $4,325.80 from Motor Fuel Tax Funds, line item 5390.

2. Motion that the Village Board approve the additional cost for the second Ferris Mower for the Public Works Department from Cherry Valley Landscaping center INC. in the amount of $350.17 from line item 5375 Capital Improvements.

3. Motion that the Village Board approve an IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) between the Village of Cherry Valley and the City of Belvidere for the Overlay of the Intersection of Newburg Road and Shaw Road at a projected cost of $11,719.00 from line item 5390 Motor Fuel Tax Funds.

4. Motion that the Village Board approve C.E.S. INC. to advertise for bids for the Harrison Avenue Road Project and Concrete Wing Wall Repairs as listed in the village’s FY2021-2022 Capital Improvements Projects.
