A maskless Theodora “Teddi” Pritzker was among the hundreds of thousands recently attending this summer's Lollapalooza at Grant Park -- just days before her dad, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, issued a mask mandate for all student and staff in Illinois schools.
The governor's oldest daughter was seen sporting green hair and mugging for photos that were later posted to Instagram.
The outing highlighted the latest example of Teddi Pritzker, 21, not adhering to the strict COVID-19 protocols and restrictions her father continues to preach for just about everyone else here in Illinois.
Earlier this year, the Prairie State Wire published photos of the first daughter working out in a gym believed to be in Florida without a mask. The photos came to light right around the same time the governor was in the midst of extending the statewide mask mandate for Illinois another five months.
In other instances, a maskless Teddi is spied in a photo posted to her Instagram account hanging out with a friend at what appears to be a lounge and in another shot she is shown posing with a horse and jumping another.
Closer to home, Teddi has openly flaunted her father’s lockdown orders by crisscrossing the state and region to take part in equestrian events. A Twitter user recently posted photos of her hanging out at a packed table of at least 14 at Chicago Cut Steakhouse.
“10 person outdoor limit for thee....jb 18yo daughter didn’t seem to abide by her dictator Father’s demands while dining outdoors at @ChicagoCutthis weekend,” DP Roberts posted
In the face of all the governor’s shutdown orders and restriction policies, Illinois Policy Institute reported at one point 61% of all the state’s retail businesses had been forced to shutter. Around that same time, a Wallethub survey found the state ranked only 30th on the list of best COVID economies, compared to having the country’s fifth strongest economy prior to the start of the pandemic.
