Recently issued the following announcement.

Leaders of Westside made a request to Rep. Danny Davis (D-Westside) and Mayor Lightfoot (D-IL) to support the Westside infrastructure improvements and to stop crime.

This is not the first time the Westside Infrastructure Coalition has held a press conference like this, told by Chicago City Wire.

“The purpose is accountability of our politicians,” Roger Romanelli, FMA executive director said. “They have press conferences during the week when people are working and people don’t have a chance to see them. With the Saturday morning anti-crime Zoom calls, residents can hear what solutions there are, and then hold the mayor and all elected officials accountable for getting rid of crime in Chicago.”

Rep. Dan Caulkins (R-Chambana) is speaking out after the death of Chicago Police Officer Ella French, told by Macon Reporter.

“Another tragedy as a result of the so-called ‘Criminal Justice Reform’ movement,” Caulkins posted on Facebook, told by the Macon Reporter. “Officer French was murdered during a routine traffic stop. 11 CPD officers have been shot so far this year. How do the Democrats in the General Assembly and Gov. Pritzker justify the atmosphere of lawlessness they’ve created?”

Chicago is on track to set a record for carjackings in 2021, told by Chicago City Wire.

“If you don’t have a solution, then you need to be able to put together a task force with the smartest minds in America,” Wilson said. "We want to repeat Fulton Market’s success story on the West Side. It’s going to take more than just Congressman Davis,” West Side Business Owner Anthony Waller said. "Mayor Lightfoot needs to recognize how important it is to allocate a fair share of the federal funding to the West Side."
