St. Christina School has reached out to parents with a questionnaire regarding the school's mask policy.

The school administration said it is collecting responses prior to engaging with talks with the City of Chicago.

The survey is online via Google docs.

"Hello St. Christina Families,

I first want to start out by saying that I am receiving your emails and I have read all concerns. I am trying to use tools like this survey to be as efficient as possible with hearing your voices. I take the responsibility of representing our school community seriously and that is why I am reaching out for your feedback. I am asking you to fill out the masking questionnaire below," the survey’s introduction reads.

"This information will help guide us (the local city archdiocese school principals and myself) in our anticipated communications with the leaders of the Health Department and the City of Chicago. Please know that all responses are respected and this data is collected with no judgement," the introduction explains.

Survey questions include:

"On a scale from 1-10, with 1 being least comfortable and 10 being most comfortable, how comfortable are you with the concept of St. Christina being a 'mask optional' school?"

"If you had a choice to send your child to school with a mask or without a mask, what would you choose?"

"If the mask mandate is removed and you are NOT in agreement with that decision, are there any other precautionary steps you would like to see implemented that would make your child more comfortable in their learning environment (if this does not apply to you mark N/A)."

The survey was released as protests continue in the school.

One St. Christina School child was featured on a Twitter post for being segregated from other students after unmasking.

"Solitary confinement for the brave kids who stand up for what they believe in. @archchicago @GovPritzker @ChiPubSchools @CardinalBCupich @PedroCPSCEO @chicagosmayor STOP BULLYING OUR CHILDREN!!!" the tweet by 'Chicago Parent' reads.

Parents at the school said last year they began submitting complaints and concerns regarding masking to the school and the Archdiocese of Chicago that were never addressed.

An email string in which one of the parents was accidentally CCed allegedly showed the Archdiocese’s strategy was to ignore parental complaints.

St. Christina School has continued mask mandates despite parental protests and a court ruling that the state's school mask mandates are unconstitutional.

The mother of a partially deaf child who received a mask exemption had her son segregated from others.

A father at the school similarly fought to have his child unmasked for a neurological issue and faced similar repercussions.

Parents at the school have vowed to hold "mask off" protests until the masking is over.
