A man alleged to have harassed a health care institution called out Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago over its presentation of his one-man protest over the hospital’s identity care services.
Twitter users including LibsofTiktok commented on the issue.
"Unreal," LibsofTikTok said on Twitter. "@axios reported that a Chicago hospital was 'facing harassment for gender affirming care.' Turns out the 'harassment' was one nice peaceful man standing outside with a sign."
The tweet links to a retweet of Billboard Chris standing outside the hospital with a billboard reading “Children Cannot Consent to Puberty Blockers. Look at me harassing everyone.”
Axios, which was recently acquired by Cox Communications, reported Lurie Children's Hospital was “facing harassment for gender affirming care.”
“A man calling himself Billboard Chris showed up at Lurie last week with a sign suggesting children are being given puberty blockers against their will,” Axios reported.
In its report, Axios noted that the "harassment" was motivated by LibsofTiktok.
"The harassment is driven by Libs of TikTok, a Twitter account whose posts are amplified by the conservative group Awake Illinois," Axios stated.
On his website, Chris explains puberty blockers and gender ideology. He cited that "the High Court in England laid out, [that] children cannot give informed consent to these harmful, life-altering drugs. Our politicians refuse to listen, and our media refuse to report, so I’m having conversations across North America.'
“Hello, I’m Chris," Chris said. "I’m a father of two girls and I decided to take a stand against gender ideology. Children should be free to be who they are — not indoctrinated to believe they were born in the wrong body,” Billboard Chris says on his website. "Puberty blockers are the first step in a medical pathway that brings physical harm to children. We are lied to about the effects of these drugs, and the cross-sex hormones which almost always follow.”
Chris was invited onto Tucker Carlson Tonight two weeks ago to speak on the issue, according to Yahoo! News. He travels the country getting the word out about the child abuse he sees in today’s gender ideology sector of medicine.
His focus on the Lurie Children's Hospital comes after the hospital was accused of partnering with local schools in Chicago to promote alternative sexual identities and lifestyles. A training document provided to schools, “Beyond Binary: Gender in Schools,” provided an academic queer theory on the issue of gender identity which “follows the basic narrative of academic queer theory: white, Western society has created an oppressive gender binary, falsely dividing the world into the categories of man and woman, that has resulted in “transphobia,” “cissexism,” and “systemic discrimination” against racial and sexual minorities.” As a result, clinics offering expensive medical procedures for youngsters have started mushrooming.
Over the previous eight years, according to Michelle Cretella, M.D., executive director of the American College of Pediatricians, the number of gender clinics has grown by 2,000% in the pediatric medical community, Chicago City Wire reported.
“Pediatric 'gender clinics' are considered elite centers for affirming children who are distressed by their biological sex,” she wrote. "This distressful condition, once dubbed gender identity disorder, was renamed “gender dysphoria” in 2013. In 2014, there were 24 of these gender clinics, clustered chiefly along the east coast and in California. One year later, there were 40 across the nation.”
