Mass Transit Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the above suspect responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on September 11, 2022 at approximately 10:45 p.m. in the 500 block of N. State St. The masked offender approached the victim, a 21 year-old male, who was waiting for a train at the above location and asked if the victim wanted to buy a cigarette. When the victim pulled out his money, the offender brandished a firearm, demanded the victim's and threatened him. The offender took the victim's money and fled.
About the offender:
The offender is described as a Black male, 18-30 years old, 5’9”, and 140-160 lbs.
