This alert gives notice to burglary related incidents that have occurred in the 007th District (Englewood) during the month of October. In both of these incidents, unknown offender gains entry into the residence through a window or rear door taking property.

• 6200 Block of South Honore Street on October 07, 2022 10:30AM.
• 6200 Block of South Honore Street on October 27, 2022 1::12AM.

• Keep the perimeter of your property well lit
• Report suspicious activity immediately
• Keep doors and windows secured
• Immediately repair any broken windows, doors or locks
• If video surveillance is available, save and make a copy of the incident for investigating detectives.
• If you are a victim do not touch anything, call police immediately
• If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information
• Secure window air conditioner units.
