President Rob became an official Blue Demon today! The inauguration ceremony of DePaul’s 13th president was the hallmark event of a weeklong celebration of the DePaul community.
"My first challenge to you — to DePaul — comes from the conversations we shared based on the aspirations and talents you all possess, based on the location in which we live, based on the opportunity this moment offers us," President Rob said during his inauguration address. "I challenge you to believe we can transform DePaul into the national model for higher education. Not the model for Vincentian or Catholic universities. Not the model for Chicago. But to become the university that creates THE national model."
