About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to the residents of the 12th and 18th Districts of three recent Aggravated Vehicular Hijackings. In those crimes, two to four offenders approached victims on foot after the victims exited their vehicles. One offender displayed a handgun then demanded and received the victims' personal property and vehicles. At least one offender entered into and fled in the victims' vehicles as the additional offenders fled in a separate vehicle.
Incident times and locations:
• 1500 block of W. 18th St. on 10 Dec 2022 at 11:34 AM.
• 2200 block of W. Race Ave on 13 Dec 2022 at 8:16 PM.
• 1300 block of W. Webster Ave 14 Dec 2022 at 11:20 AM.
Offender descriptions:
1. African American male, 18-25 years of age.
2. African American male, 18-25 years of age.
3. African American male, 18-25 years of age.
4. African American male, 18-25 years of age.
Weapons Used:
Black handgun.
Offender Vehicle:
Dark colored SUV

• Be aware of these crimes and alert other family and friends who live in the area.
• Remain aware of your surroundings and free from distractions.
• Pay special attention to suspicious individuals in the area and alert the Police.
• Call 911 immediately if you are a victim or witness to a crime and provide a detailed description of the offender(s) including any vehicle description and
license plate information.
