About the Crime: On December 1, 2022 at approximately 3:45 P.M, in the vicinity of the 1700 block of West Polk Street, an unknown African American, Male, with long braided hair, wearing a dark colored "Lakers" knit cap, blue and red jacket with fur hood trim, and gray sweatpants boarded a CTA Pink Line train possibly at the Harold Washington stop and sat across from a female juvenile victim. This unknown male then placed his hand inside his pants while staring at the female victim and pointed his cellphone in the victim's direction while stroking himself inside his pants.

The offender(s) descriptions reported are outlined as: Unknown African American Male, with long braided hair, wearing a dark colored "Lakers" knit cap, blue and red jacket with fur hood trim, gray pants, and black shoes.
What you can do:
- Always be aware of your surroundings.
- Pay special attention to suspicious people loitering in the area and report them to the police.
- Remember any unique descriptive characteristics of offenders (Scars, limp, acne, teeth etc.)
- Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to police.
- Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender.
