About the crime:
This alert gives notice to businesses in the 14th (Shakespeare) and the 17th (Albany Park) Districts of recent Commercial Burglaries. In these incidents, the unknown offenders broke the front glass door/window and gained entry into the targeted business. Once inside, the offenders removed liquor, safe, cigarettes and U.S. currency and then fled the scene.
Incident times and locations:
- 3100 block of W. Addison between Jan. 7 at 11 p.m. – Jan. 8 at 9:15 a.m.
- 3300 block of W. Belmont on January 8 at 4:03 a.m.
- 1700 block of N. Milwaukee on January 9 at 4:30 a.m.
- 2000 block of W. Division on January 10 at 1:51 a.m.
- 3200 block of N. Pulaski on January 11 at 5 a.m.
In JG-108302, the offenders are described as:
Offender #1: Male, 15-30 years old, 5'7"-6'0", 140-160 lbs.
Offender #2: Male, 18-30 years old, 5'8"-6'00", 140-150 lbs.
Offender #3: Unknown
Offender #4: 18-30 years old, 5'8"-6'0", 140-160 lbs.
Offender #5: Unknown
