About This Crime
On Monday, January 02, 2023, at approximately 10:10 p.m., a white Dodge Durango, SUV, traveled southbound in the 7900 block of South Lafayette Ave. At the same time, a pedestrian was crossing 79th Street walking westbound. The SUV struck the pedestrian and continued southbound on Lafayette Ave. colliding with a concrete barrier. Four subjects fled the scene on foot without rendering aid to the pedestrian. Major Accident Investigation Unit is seeking any information about the four subjects who fled the scene. The white Dodge Durango was on the scene and towed for investigation.
