About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to residents of the 016th District and 017th District of recent Residential Burglaries. In these incidents the offender(s) made forced entry into the residences and then targeted jewelry for theft. The offenders then fled the scene with the stolen proceeds.
Incident times and locations:
- 5600 block of North Central Park Ave. on January 17th at 5pm.
- 5200 block of North Marmora Ave. on January 23rd at 7:45 pm
- 5700 block of North Bernard St. on January 25th at 3:37pm.
- 5800 block of North Spaulding Ave. on January 31st at 5:15pm
- 7500 block of West Everell Ave. February 5th between 1:00 pm and 7:43 pm
- Three Male African Americans, one of which was heavyset.
- Driving a gray Toyota Camry
- Be aware of this crime and alert your neighbors.
- Pay special attention to any suspicious subjects loitering in the area.
- Ensure that existing surveillance cameras are functional.
- Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s) including any vehicle description and license plate information.
