About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to residents of the 011th, 012th, 014th and the 025th district of recent Armed Robberies. In these incidents the offenders arrived in a black SUV. While armed with a handgun(s), the offenders approached the victims and demanded the victim's personal belongings. After taking the victim's belongings the offenders were able to flee the scene.

Incident times and locations:

•  4300 block of West Grand Ave. on February 10th at 6:12am.
•  1500 block of North Kildare Ave. on February 10th at 6:27am.
•  1800 block of North Lacross Ave. on February 10th at 6:30am.
•  4900 block of West Division St. on February 10th at 6:40am.
•  3100 block of West Augusta Blvd. on February 10th at 6:45am.
•  1100 block of North Harding Ave. on February 10th at 6:50am.
•  1400 block of North Hamlin Ave. on February 10th at 7am.
•  1100 block of North Monticello Ave. on February 10th at 7:09am.
•  600 block of North St. Louis Ave on February 10th at 7:26am.

About the Offender:

JG-147185:

Offender #1: Male African American, 18-24yoa, 5'05"-5'08", 145-160lbs, dark brown complexion.

Offender #2: Male African American, 18-24yoa, 5'05"-5'07", dark brown complexion.

Offender #3: Male African American, 18-24yoa, medium brown complexion.

Offender #4: Male African American, 18-24yoa, black short hair, medium brown complexion.

What you can do:

•  Do Not Resist.
•  Be aware of this crime and alert your neighbors.
•  Pay special attention to any suspicious subjects loitering in the area.
•  Ensure that existing surveillance cameras are functional.
•  Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s) including any vehicle description and license plate information.
•  Be aware of your surroundings.
