About the crime:
On Thursday March 16, 2023 at 8:40 pm, a female pedestrian was struck and seriously injured while crossing the street at 79th St. and East End Ave. The vehicle was traveling west bound on 79th St. and after striking the pedestrian continued to travel west bound on 79th St. without stopping. The vehicle is described as a light color, 2013 – 2016 Chevrolet Malibu with Illinois plates.
About the vehicle:
The vehicle is a light color (possibly gray) 2013 -2016 Chevrolet Malibu with right side front end, hood, and windshield damage. The vehicle will be missing a right side mirror. The vehicle has a long dark mark on the driver side door. The vehicle was last seen traveling west bound on 79th St. toward Stony Island Ave.
